I got a Flip camcorder for christmas, but the little pouch does not really provide the kind of protection I want for my camera. Is there someone who is making a hard case for the Flip?

This video was shot at Gray Whale Cove, a beach near Pacifica, south of San Francisco, using the new Flip Video Ultra camcorder. Compare it to the same scene shot with the Sony Net-Sharing Cam, a competitor to the Flip. (That video is also on my YouTube channel.) The most noticeable difference is the Sony camcorder’s more powerful zoom. But the Flip camcorder video is higher quality, with better colors and detail.

So I’ve been wanting to get a HD Camcorder to make videos and post it on YouTube but I realized the prize is really high for HD Camera’s So I discovered this FLIP camcorder but is it worth the money I mean I just need some reviews and comments on this thing is it good for making videos?? is it worth buying?

I have a flip video camcorder and I was wondering if it could record stuff on your television. If it can, how? I am trying to record some video game footage and I would be appreciative to anyone who helps.
Most camcorders are equipped with connector jacks which are "Video Out" functions and not "Video In" .. either that or the standard USB connector jacks ..
so unless your video camcorder is equipped with another "video in" input jack which you can plug on the "video out" of your VCR or DVD player (because TVs do not have "video out" jacks)
OR …..
mount your video camcorder in front of your TV and record the show live and make sure everyone is quite when you do. A lot of times, when you do this process, you’ll get those "line" that run up and down on your video, even if the TV shoes a clear image.
Im doing a web-show with my friends and im the camera girl. I have a orange flip Video camcorder but, i want a tripod and i don’t know how tall it is. The reason i want one is because i dint like web shows that are shakey.
I know that the tripod that is designed for the flip is tiny but you could probably use any tripod. P.S. you said you were a camera person right? Why don’t you just move around so it doesn’t look like its shaky. Thats what we do for our webshow. We use up the entire room by moving around.
Follow up my demo of the Flip camcorder a few months ago, this is the same scene with the new Flip Ultra. The big improvement is the tripod attachment point on the camera. This scene was recorded with the camera on a tripod. The audio narration was added separately.
