I really like my Flip Video Mino and dont want to replace it. Will it work with a green screen?

While Any camera can use a green screen, I would strongly preference any camera that allows you to control the "White Balance", as some cameras tend to de-saturate the green in the green screen.

The higher resolution the better, IF you can afford it, go HD 1080p.

But as for your Flip Video Mino, it should still be usable. Just might take more playing with thresholds, or perhaps run your Chroma Key pass after a color correction pass.

I was filming with my Flip Mino HD and it froze. Later I reset it and transferred the videos onto the computer. But every time I turn it on it shows me that there is less time than normal and less memory available (58mins -> Originally 60mins). I don’t have any videos on it. How can I fix this?

I’m sorry that happened to you. Im not a Flip Mino expert but i would recommend that you send your flip back to the flip video company and make them fix it or give you a new one. As far as i know i don’t think it is posible to repair it manually

I’ve recorded some video using the Flip Mino HD and edited them in Windows Movie Maker. I saved the movie as 720p and streamed to the TV using an Xbox 360 but the video from the Flip doesn’t look HD. What’s the easiest way to get the HD video from the Flip edited and onto the TV while retaining quality?

I use the flipshare software that comes with the flip mino hd. I also use Roxio Creator 2009, that one works very well.

Is the flip mino HD a camera used to take pictures too?

It is not used to take pictures, but you can extract still photos from the videos you take with the video program.

I would like to use a better video editing software but i need one compatible with the flip mino camera. Please help me. Easy 10 points.

So about 30 minutes after making this video, I returned the Flip. So sorry there will not be a review on it. Just right away I could tell this was not for me, it didn’t have the things I needed in a cam. But it’s all good because I exchanged this for a new phone! And the unboxing for that is going to be uploaded after this one!
