The gamestop at 86th and lexington avenue located in manhattan is selling early modern warfare 2 copies, HOWEVER it is only open to pre orders, if i were to go, and pre order it today could i pick it up the same day?

i’m not 100% sure on there pre order offer, you would have to ask instore, it could be that you preorder, and it is posted same day as it is released, or a day erlier to arrive on the release date. you may be able to ask to reserve a copy on release date.

i dont think that they will have a preorder were you collect on the day of release from the actual store.

if you really want it as soon as it’s released, i suggest that you buy it on steam, you will get a digital download copy of it and not dvd disc, once you have preordered it, it should show up on your steam account, and then begin to download a week or a few days befor release, once downloaded it will be locked, but on the day and exact time of release it will unlock and you can play it strait away.

I want to play with two people split screen on one ps3 and play online. Why can the current games not do this and if cod modern warfare 2 can’t why not?

You can’t. Infinity Ward said they only wanted 1 person per console to be able to play online. Nobody knows why but that’s what they said and they plan on keeping it that way for Modern Warfare 2.

I don’t want to pre-order, but i want to reserve a modern warfare 2 xbox 360 console at gamestop or target, i live on long island, how much would it cost to reserve at each?

i don’t think you can. You just have to hope you’re one of the first people in line or find someone who’s willing to hold one for you and pay them lol

Unless you mean pre-order then it’s just 5$ down. Not sure if that’s what you mean though.
