My daughter is crazy about her friend’s zhu zhu pet and really wants one for christmas. The problem is I can’t find any in stock locally and the only ones on the internet have been marked up 5 or 6 times the retail price! (I can’t believe that!) Anyway, it is really important to my daughter, but I can’t afford to pay the kind of money these guys are asking…..any suggestions on how I can get my hands on one at a reasonable price?

Simple. Wait till after Christmas. C is not the only day in the year kids can get toys… Tell your daughter she can have 2 instead of 1 if she only waits a while…

know if they will get anymore shipments before the holidays when people on Ebay are already selling the new 2010 zhu zhu pets? Something doesn’t seem quite right! Any info would be appreciated. New Castle, PA

What happens is that eBay sellers in general use technology to their advantage. I personally know one of these re-sellers that uses a piece of software to track when a specific item hits Amazon.com inventory. As soon as it does, he buys it. In that way, eBay resellers hoard the market for whatever is hot and then make a killing reselling it.

I can’t find the accessories anywhere and we are lucky enough to of been able to find 1 zhu zhu pet a while back. Has anyone tried using a real hamster ball? They are a lot cheaper, but I’m not sure if they will work. Thanks!

Amazon keeps running out of the zhu zhu items but you can go to http://www.azcut.com to be notified when they come back in stock. Get them fast before they run out! I don’t know if a regular hamster ball would work, but I’d rather go with the accessories meant for the zhu zhu pets.

I have alot of Zhu Zhu Pets and acessories. About 3 of each Hamster and every acessories created for them. I was wondering what would be the best time to sell them and make the most money? Should i sell them now on ebay or wait a month or wait til a week before Christmas, etc. etc. ……Any ideas? Please help. Worth ten points.

if you pay attention the zhu zhu items sell the most after every shipment of toys r us sells out (my observation atleast). so if you do it now, wait til after the shipments have come in and sold out. I would suggest waiting until after black friday when everyone really starts getting pumped for xmas. I think zhu zhus will be in huge demand even more closer to xmas when the parents will get desperate and i’d wait until then. also if you ever notice the people who feature their items and sell them in bundles make the most opposed to people who do not pay the 14.99 to feature their item.
