I am planning on buying a Kindle and I’m trying to prepare all of my ebooks to load them.

Are ebook files in a Kindle all stored in a single folder, or can they be separated into folders?

If they can be separated into folders, is there a limit on how many sub folders you can have?

The Kindle does not use folder but use similar thing. In the latest update of the Kindle, you can organize the books in collections, as you can see here:
