How does one use the kindle in India? Does the bundled free wireless service work in India?

I want to also know specific feedback on other e-book readers, including the one launced in India- how do they compare to the kindle?

    The bundled free wireless service works well in India. .
    i’m using a kindle for past to months. .
    i’m able to buy books from the amazon store(minimum around 2 dollars) and even download mobi books(free of cost) with the help the integrated browser in the kindle. . you can browse for free but can download only the books which are supported by kindle. . The wireless coverage is also pretty decent. .
