yeah this sucks. … yeah this sucks. You can email PDF and WORD files from your computer to the kindle FOR A FEE. Why should I pay for something I can just transfer myself?
No need to wait for … No need to wait for the Apple version. It’s called the iPhone. (Amazon have released a Kindle App.) Of course, you’ll still pay twice as much for it.
ummm , i think its … ummm , i think its a cool device , but the problem is papers are much better i mean you can feel the paper , you can throwthe book on your bed , your office desk and you can carry your book inside the chemical or biological labortory without worrying about damaging it and if someone stole it i will be fine i will go buy another book..but kindle i think it is not for student with busy and fighty days like me.
um is it water proof by the way ??

probably close to what it might cost for wireless on a netbook. but any normal person knows in most areas internet access is everywhere.

I think no single … I think no single e-reader still has it, in the way that the ipod did when it revolutionised the way we listen to music. I’m surprised that Steve Jobs hasn’t picked up on this market, the reading market has huge potential! I think Apple has what it takes to revolutionise the concept. Time for the I-READER!!!

This is ugly: no color, slow, and this will never be like reading a real book. I cannot take photocopies as real books, I can.
OF COURSE it doesnt eliminate the need to print or photocopy… what if im a teacher and i need to give a copy of a page to all the students?
What if I wanna lend a book to a friend? I have to loose all my books, magazines, etc or I cannot lend it…
