Can you use Beatles rockband instruments for band hero?
i wanna ask for band hero for christmas, but i dont want a crap load of instruments in my room for both Beatles rockband and band hero! (btw its for wii) does anyone know if i can buy the bandhero software only and use my rockband intruments? thanks!
Yep, they’re all compatible. The instruments also work for Guitar Hero 5.
Bee is wrong. Rock Band instruments, are most definitely compatible with Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero. However, any Guitar Hero games previous to GH5 will NOT work. This includes GH3 and World Tour. The compatibility chart Bee listed does not mention GH5 or Band Hero.

No you can’t. If you have the 360 or the PS3 then you can use the instruments for either but for the Wii you cannot. The Guitar Hero games (which Band Hero is a part of) require that you put the actual Wii remote inside of the guitar controller in order to play the game. On the other hand, Rockband guitars do not. The best way to check if your instruments are compatible with new games is to use the Rockband chart http://www.rockband.com/compatibility. But I can tell you already that Wii controllers will NOT work with Guitar Hero.
