Can you put the zhu zhu pets in a real cage?

I was wondering if i can go to the pet store and pick up a cage for the zhu zhu pet or will they only work in the zhu zhu pet cages.
Will it work on a wheel of a normal hamster cage?

It’s a battery operated hamster…I think you can pretty much put it wherever you want, except maybe the swimming pool or any other body of water.

    Uhm.. well, they aren’t real pets. So, you can pretty much do whatever you want.
